Being a part of Veterinary Specialists Aotearoa (VSA), means that we have access to state of the art specialist facilities and additional support from the specialist teams in our hospitals should your pet need them.

The Animal Emergency team at VSA are dedicated to providing exceptional care for your injured or sick pets with the best out of hours and emergency veterinary care.
We strive to provide every cat, dog and small animal that comes through our door with the very best in treatments and leave with a better way of life.
Our team of experienced vets, nurses and support professionals have three roles. As well as accepting emergencies at any time during our opening hours, we are also responsible for the overnight observation and treatment of all patients in the hospitals and we also provide a similar service for local day time practices, allowing local veterinarians to send their critical and post-operative patients to be cared for overnight and during the weekend.
Our Mission, through dedication, teamwork and ongoing education, is to continue to stand apart as the leading provider of veterinary emergency and critical care in New Zealand.
